Train services between Dhaka and the northern regions of Bangladesh were disrupted today due to a derailment incident involving two bogies of the Burimari Express at Muladuli Railway Station in Pabna’s Ishwardi upazila.
The derailment occurred early this morning while the train was traversing through the Muladuli station area. Railway authorities promptly responded to the incident, mobilizing efforts to re-rail the affected bogies and clear the tracks for resumption of services.
Abdul Karim, the Manager of Rajshahi Railway Station, confirmed the derailment and assured that measures are being taken to expedite the restoration of train services.
As a consequence of the derailment, passengers traveling between Dhaka and the northern regions faced inconvenience, with train operations temporarily suspended until further notice.
