The Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation has been asked for by the detectives to look after the elderly and children at Milton Samadder’s Child and Old Age Care facility. They want the foundation to always ensure that these folks have access to food and medical care.
According to Harun-Or-Rashid, the chief of the police Detective Branch, they met with the leader of the charity on Sunday and requested that they give food and medical assistance to the children and elderly. In addition, he stated that all of Milton’s charges are being looked at. Anyone discovered to be associated with him will not be absolved.
According to Harun, Milton has been depositing money into his personal bank account instead of the shelter’s designated funds for the inhabitants. He said that when someone passed away at Milton’s care facility, neither the police nor the deceased’s relatives were notified.
On May 1, at Mirpur, Dhaka, Milton was taken into custody by detectives due to several charges leveled against him. A Dhaka court ordered on Sunday to detain Milton for a further four days in connection with a trafficking case.
